The numbers 1-15 are in group B and 16-30 are in group I, this follows the same pattern all the way to 75. Each bingo card contains a 5×5 grid, which totals 25 squares.! There are 25 squares in the 5×5 grid bingo cards. The middle space in the bingo cards is known as a free space, meaning that there is no number included in it. Each remaining space on the card is randomly filled with numbers, To win this form of the game players have to check off the numbers on their cards in hope to get a specific patter which will be told to gamers at the beginning of the game. For example, you might have to get all four corners, or a line or and x shape to win, or all of these may be included in one game with different prizes for each pattern. Many jackpot bingo rounds require the player to get a full house, this means that they mark off every number on their bored.

People in the UK and Europe enjoy a different form of bingo to those in America. Although this version of the game has the same principle there is a lot of variation in the winning patterns. The major difference is unlike a bingo board or card used in America people in the UK/EU you get a bingo ticket. Bingo is played in the UK with a higher number of balls, so unlike the Americans 75 the UK/EU play with 90. There are 3 rows of of numbers in this variety of bingo and 9 columns. Not all the squares in a UK bingo ticket are filled, in fact in each row there are four blank spaces. Therefore each ticket contains a total of 15 numbers. So in total there are 12 blank spaces and 15 numbered spaces on a UK bingo ticket. Each column on a bingo ticket holds a different group of numbers and there are 10 numbers in each group.
Winning is less complicated in this type of bingo, you either get 1/2 lines or a full house. There are 3 winners in each game of UK/EU bingo The top prize will go to the winner of the full house, the prizes decline in quality with the number of lines you had to get to win it.
